Fittings:
Due to the modular design of the Andair products it is possible to interchange fittings. The FS20 range of Fuel Selectors and the GAS375 can accept the 3/8" fittings, where as the FS25 range of Fuel Selectors and the GAS500 accept the 1/2" fittings.

Male AN-6 (3/8")

(1/2") Male AN-8

The male fitting is machined with a standard AN-6, 37.5o flare. Therefore it must be used in conjunction with 3/8" pipe. This fitting is supplied if no other fitting is asked for.

Female 1/4" NPT (3/8")
|
(1/2") Female 3/8" NPT
|
|
With the inclusion of a -F after the part number to be ordered (FS20x4 -F for example), Female Fittings can be supplied. The thread is a standard American 1/4" NPT size for the 3/8" type and 3/8" NPT for the 1/2" type.
When you receive an Andair product with female fittings attached, you will not that the fitting comes with the screws loose. THIS IS NOT A FAULT. The idea behind this is so the fitting, with an elbow fitting screwed into it, can rotated in 90 degree inrements. Here, better alignment to the surrounding pipe work can be achieved.

Banjo Fitting (3/8")

(1/2") Banjo Fitting

The banjo can really be called an adjustiable elbow fitting. The blue fitting can be rotated through 360o an locked off in the desired position. By including a -B after the part number to be ordered , banjo fittings can be supplied (GAS375 -B for example). A standard AN-6 fitting is machined on the end of the 3/8" banjo and on the 1/2" banjo there is a AN-8 fitting. Click for exploded view.
