The FS20x1 has a 90 degree action between the ON and OFF position. The Red button must be raised to turn the handle from the OFF position to the ON position.

This picture illustrates the valve with its lever removed. Notice the detent track machined into the top plate. (click to see enlarged image)
The silver engraved plate has a special feature, it can only be correctly positioned on the valve in one orientation. This allows for proper indication of the valves operation.

The image to the left shows the lower part of the valve. This one has been fitted with male fittings. Either fitting can be used as the feed or supply.

The lever on the x1 valves has a slightly longer spindle than all the rest. This aids the safety mechanism that prevents the user inadvertently switiching to 'OFF.'
